Cleaner rates in Leeds

I'm looking to start a local cleaning service, I'll also do ironing and car washing plus light gardening if required.
Sadly I'm very good at all these things!
I'm in Leeds and thinking of charging £12.50 an hour - is this reasonable? I'd use my own tools and equipment unless people specifically want me to use theirs.
Those of you who have cleaners, what do you like about yours and do you have any tips on how to make me stand out from the rest?
Thank you

Here in South London, £10 an hour is the norm for home cleaning, but £12.50 wouldn't be extortionate. The householder would supply all materials and cleaning products.

For gardening or other work involving tools you should charge more as you'll need to transport tools around.

If you're hard working and diligent you'll soon build a loyal following. You can ask your first few customers if they know anyone else that needs a cleaner, and ask them if they'd mind recommending you. If they are happy with your work they will be more than happy to recommend you to friends. You should never need to advertise once you get started.
