Hi Guys.
I am not a tech savvy bloke and I need a little help.
When I turn on the Laptop it takes around fifteen mins before I can actually use it. Even then that little blue circle keeps spinning around.
The machine wont allow me to even type because it is that slow.
I have been told to use system restore but that didn't make any difference.
I am using Windows 10 and do not know where the tab is that tells you what is running on start up, I need to close down several programmes that are running at start up and prevent them for starting when the machine is booted up. Also what is this one drive?
Kind regards Jeff

One Drive is Microsoft's online storage facility.
Press the Windows key then type in msconfig ... the search results should give you what you need. Or ... right click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager ... one of the tabs is startup where you can disable items from starting.0 -
Hi and thank you for the replies.
I ended up re-setting the machine back to it's original status but it somehow kept Windows 10 which I down loaded and installed after Microsoft offered a free version.
I now have the task of installing the other hardware like printer etc.
Kind regards Jeff.0
