Just got my Halifax Switching bonus, what next?

After getting bank married (getting a joint account) with my other half I switched my useless personal current account from HSBC to Halifax to cash in on the £100 switching bonus. Now I have my £100 and am wondering if I can carry on. Could I now move the account to First Direct for another £150 or elsewhere.
I'm quite new to the world of not being absolutely terrible with money so any pointers greatly appreciated.

You can do but you can also make £5 a month from cycling some money through Halifax and setting up a couple of direct debits.
Many people have multiple current accounts for interest, perks and switching purposes so read a bit more on the forum and you'll get the idea.0 -
I would open a second account with Halifax, and switch that away to Yorkshire or First Direct, First Direct is easier.
Keep your first account and add 2 DD's (payable to yourself if you open the right account so doesn't cost you anything) and then cycle through £750 for a free £5p/m, and then you can also use the account.
Most people on this forum have one account with the bank they like, and then have a few other account that are just moved around for the best bonus's. (+plus savings accounts and accounts getting high interest)
On a side note, I'm doing the Halifax switch atm, was it done within the 7 days and bonus within 3 days, no issues?0 -

I switched from NatWest to Halifax within seven days and also received my £100 incentive the day after it'd taken place.
No issues here. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
