Hi could anybody help me please. Have just booked a holiday to Butlins through the sun holidays for me, my partner and 4 year old son. The initial charge is £62 for the accomodation which it said would be the same price for 3 people as it is for 4. So on the booking form I put my sisters name on also as figured it was no extra cost and she might wanna come along, but if not would be the same price for just the 3 of us regardless. However as I have never booked a family holiday, I (foolishly) didn't realise realise that you then had to pay on top for the extras. I booked half board for the stay which said £18.50 per person per night which I assume the park will bill me for on arrival or close to the date? However, does that now mean I'll have to pay the half board charge for the stay of my sisters name I put down, even though in all likeliness she won't be coming, I just added her name as thought the room price was for 4 people anyway. Any advice on how these holidays work would be greatly appreciated. I booked through the sun deals as thought they were intended to work out as cheap holidays for those with less income. But after doing all the maths on the charge after paying for the half board meals, entertainment passes etc, it's gonna cost just over £400. That seems like an awful lot to me when I could go on their website and get it for cheaper? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rachel.

Not sure if you can have them taken off yet, you might have to wait until the confirmation email comes through from Butlins
You would need to ask for one entertainment pass,one linen hire,and one half board to be taken off the bill

When ive booked in the past (not butlins) when i have recieved my bill it has never been a problem to ring and say i only want entertainment passes and half board for 3 people, i also take my own bedding if they charge extra for that, you can ask for it to be taken off.

I've used this deal many years ago. With the extras, I don't think we ever actually saved lol. But I do suggest calling and asking to cancel her name etc. This shouldn't be an issue and they should be very understanding
