See it might not even be a designer, it might be one from a website where they just make their own that look similar to designer ones.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
Not being funny... but was she looking on Ebay at all? Could have been a copy on there... very nice copy though if that is what it is

Otherwise I'd tell her to stop looking online... Not being funny but you can't choose a dress online. You have to go try them on. I thought I kinda knew what I wanted. Well that shape just didn't fit me at all! And in the end I think I might go for this one which is incredibly flattering. It also turns out my size is about a size smaller than I thought because they have corsets in most of them
So go to a few shops and try them on. Get the designer name though

Sorry but I disagree. It is perfectly possible to find your dream dress online, I know LOADS of brides that have done this. Found their dress online and gone and bought it. Some without even trying it on.
And I completly disagree about going designer, again, I know loads of brides who have bought a £80 fake from China on ebay and have been more than happy with it.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

I agree with this, probably because most wedding dresses are made in China anyway so they're probably exactly the same on ebay.0 -
I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy it from the web... I'm saying go and try them on. It might suprise you how a dress looks in a picture compared to on you. Dresses I'd never have looked at twice turned out to look spectacular on and dresses I loved on the hanger... looked awful. Totally the wrong shape for me... not intended for the larger (32GG) busted woman...
By all means by a cheaper chinese copy, just don't rule out going and trying on dresses

Hi this is the “wife to be” writing
Thank you so much for all the effort. All of you have been unbelievably helpful and it is very much appreciated. Still no luck with the dress --- have tried emailing many stores !!! If everything fails I will go with the Bonny 416 dress -- which is very close to what I had in mind.
Also thinking of trying out the style at the shop and then getting it through ebay as suggested by many – just wondering if anyone can recommend an ebay seller and also what specifics I have to give the person - -- a bit clueless as sewing is one thing I know nothing about.
I am trying to get a description of the dress which will give a better idea of what material etc to use -- do you think that is important ?I have learnt that living life to the fullest gives you a much better high than alcohol or drugs !0 -

saw this on ebay
thes dress can be made in any colour size design at no additional cost
has ok feedback
total cost approx £1250 -
I would have said Maggie Sottero as well. it's their style. My daughter's was a 'maggie' and didn't appear on their main site as they do a few that are only sold in selected shops. How about emailing some bridal magazines and asking if they recognise it.0

this one has better feedback
