How long should I keep my credit card?

Just applied and been approved for a capital one credit card at 30 something% Apr with a £400 limit and chose to pay off in full via direct debit.
I plan to use this card purely to buy something that I have the funds for then pay it off in full to build credit and just in case for emergencies.
How long should I keep this card for? 6month? A year?
Just to give you a rough idea my clearscore rating is 340/700(on par with my area)

If you don't plan on getting another to replace it, then forever.
But practically speaking, once you have two or three other better cards, you could drop it.0 -
I plan on replacing it for one with a better interest rate just a question of when... Suppose I'll try the eligibility checker on her in 6months time to see what I can get to replace or have as well as this0
