the met office issue Yellow ice warnings for the north of england and scotland

is that the same as a yellow snow warning?

    They don't issue yellow snow warnings anymore, as everybody knows not to eat it. :D
    I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

    (except air quality and Medical Science ;))

    If you mean the same degree of 'awareness' is called for, then yes.

    But obviously it's a different weather problem you need to be aware of, and be prepared for.
