Hi everyone,
We're in the process of getting a new patio, and I plan on getting some nice rattan type furniture for it like this ...
http://www.diy.com/departments/soron-rattan-effect-4-seater-coffee-set/876066_BQ.prd
But I was wondering how this fares outside in the British weather.
Will i need to store the whole set over winter, and will the cushions be able to stand the rain (and snow) or will I need to bring them in everytime there's a shower ?
thanks

We have something similar and we have a fitted cover for ours. The cushions won't be damaged if they get wet, but they'll take days to dry out so you'll want to cover or bring them inside when you're not using them (as we found out the one evening we didn't put the cover back on.....and then it rained!)
For the winter we wrapped the cushions and stored them in the loft (I'm afraid if I leave them outside, even covered, they'll get damp and mouldy) and have just kept the cover on the base - seems to be surviving ok.0 -
