I want to open either a savings account or put some money away somewhere for my Granson for his first birthday, now i cant afford to invest alot so i was going to add £52 a year into it on each Birthday (one pound for each week)and maybe add some more into it each Christmas. But i dont want my son or his partner being able to access the money as they would spend it on themselves, can anyone advise where i should start to look please.
Im not a regular saver myself so i have no idea where to start.
*Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else i did look but couldnt find a similar post
