Post Office PLatinum Card

Hi,
I have joined here because many years ago, I applied for and got a Post Office Platinum Credit Card.
Martin Lewis :money: raved about this card, as it gave a "business" exchange rate when used abroad. So I applied, and only use it on foreign trips (keeping it in my "foreign wallet" with my EHIC cards etc).
It expires end of January, and I have been issued with a replacement card which is not a Platinum Card even though it does have the same 16 digt number.
My Concern is that this won't have the same benefits as my Platinum card. No documentation came with my "new" card (stating t's & c's have changed) so do I assume this is the new Platinum replacement? I see you can still apply for Platinum Cards.... This new one is green, and says Post Office Money on it.
Given the posts I have been browsing on here, if I did have to re-apply, it would cost me an arm and a leg in certified photocopies..
Thanks

It's almost certainly OK.
I applied for a Platinum PO card but they just sent a normal coloured one. The T+Cs were just the same, including non-loaded exchange rate.
If you want to be sure, check the T+Cs they sent with the replacement card.0 -
do I assume this is the new Platinum replacement?0

Have to do a bit of research, as can't find T's&C's leaflet now.
As the "non loaded exchange rate" is the prime reason I got the card, and the only times I use it are for buying stuff abroad (tho' NEVER use it for Cash advances), I do need to check.
I'll post back on here when I find out for definite.

OK.
I emailed Post Office Credit Cards, and today they phoned me back.
The T's & C's are unchanged - the card has changed name and colour that is all.
Thanks for your help0 -
Can I ask about this card? We are looking for one to take to Florida to use in case of emergency (probably only on purchases not to withdraw from bank) how have you found it? Does it have to be paid in full in the first months otherwise the interest is added on? Or just the monthly repayment?0

Like normal CCs, you must pay off in full each month to avoid interest. However if you get an introductory purchase offer, then you only need to pay the minimum for the period of the offer. You must pay off the whole balance by the end of the promo period else interest will start accumulating.0
