Credit Report Booster - Swiss National

Hi
I am not a UK national, Swiss in fact and I cannot register to vote, thus I cannot be in the electoral roll.
My partner is British and he is registered; both of us do have a very good credit record, no loans/outstanding balances, no missed payments, registered for council tax, UK bank accounts, etc.
We are looking for our first mortgage and I am wondering what I should be doing to make sure that I'm/we're not penalised due to not being on the electoral roll.
Any advice please?
Thank you.

I don't think you need to get too hung up on not being on the electoral roll. If everything else is up to scratch ie previous credit history, sufficient income etc then the only benefit of actually being on the electoral role is that whoever you apply to will find it easier to carry out ID checks.
This could mean providing more proof of ID than some people, ie passports, proof of address etc.
Good luck for the future.'If you ain't living life on the edge you are taking up too much room'
