Looking for a bit of advice.I took out a 2 year contract with 3.The contract expired in November but i didnt realise as i thought the direct debits would stop at the end of the contract. When I checked and realised I contacted 3 who said I would need to to cancel the contract by giving a months notice,Surely if the contract has ended 3 should have stopped taking payment.I had no contact from 3 telling me the contract was coming to an end which I thought would happen as my experience is companies normally want to extend your contract so they contact you to do so.

It's not a 2 year contract, it's a two year minimum term. After that, if you do nothing it continues on just as before with 30 days notice required. All telcoms contracts work like this, they don't just cut you off after the min term ends.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
