Double Glazed Windows

I recently purchased a flat that has new double glazed windows.
There are lots of faults with them the locks are faulty I cannot open most of the windows and a few of them I cannot lock.
What is annoying is that I have called the window company five times and each time they have told me they will send someone round to look at them. But they never do.
I think their behaviour is really disrespectful. If I have no rights in the matter they should say I did not purchase the windows, the guarantee is not in my name and then offer to make repairs that I would pay for.
If I do have any rights I would appreciate it if anyone knows what they are. On their site the guarantee is for 10 years so it seem strange that if one buys a flat with new windows, the guarantee becomes null and void !
(Windows put in 2014, I purchased flat in 2015, received Fensa certificate, I asked the company if they could transfer the Guarantee to my name for a fee, which I believe is standard practice, but they did not even respond to my email?

Original purchaser had all the rights from the vendor .
You have non from the vendor and its up to them if they want to transfer or not .0 -

Unless of course the paperwork for the original installation states that the 10 year guarantee is transferrable.
If this is the case then provided any subsequent purchaser of the property complies with any guarantee transfer requirements, they also have rights against the guarantee provider.0 -
OP needs to read the terms on the paperwork of the guarantee in regard to transfers .0

never realised this about the window guarantee as they make a big deal out of having the receipts/certificates when buying and selling a house.... maybe its all useless paperwork0
