Is there a charity which grants wishes to terminally ill adults?

This is something I've been pondering this week after reading on another thread a comment about David Bowie.
The comment went along the lines that although he knew he was dying he was able to continue to do the things he wanted, and some of this may have been to do with having the money/contacts in place to be able to continue.
For a lot of people with terminal illness, doing the things they want to isn't an option as they often have to give up work and live on benefits etc.
A very dear friend of mine died from cancer at the tender age of 33 and one of her last wishes was to have a final day at the seaside with her three children. However, it was beyond the finances and the caring abilities of her family to be able to do this.
I know that there are charities which do wonderful work in granting wishes for terminally ill children, but is there or should there be something similar in place for adults?

their cut-off is 40 (arguable, but the people who set up & support these charities have their own reasons) and I am sorry that your friend wasn't told about them, because it is exactly the kind of thing they do.0 -

Honeyrose is based in St. Helens, where I live, and I've read about it in the local paper and bought from their charity shop. Otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. Hope it helps somebody.
