This Week's in Lidl - 'Winter Hardy Rose'

I was wondering if there is such a thing as a "winter hardy rose' as it looks like a hellebore to me. What do others think? I haven't been to Lidl's to check these out in the flesh, but if anyone has, are they available in any other colour than white please. I do hanker after more hellebores in the garden, but generally they cost quite a bit (and take some years to establish).
Thanks. :T
ps. sorry, i don't know how to post a link.

Looks like a Helleborus niger0 -
Yes, agree that's a hellebore ( probably niger) but it's a good price! I love them, they fill in a gap in the flowering year but generally cost a packet. They cross-fertilise easily so if they have been near other colours their seedlings may be interesting.0

None in my local Lidl ...0

Just bought one (should have gone on day of the offer once they were freshly delivered) and hope in years to come, I'll get some new cross-breeds.
Atm, the claret and the pinkish one in the garden has lots of buds coming through.0 -
I love those. Got a couple in the garden. Will have a look tomorrow to see if they have any near me in Lidl.If you change nothing, nothing will change!!0

Hellobore Niger is known as the Christmas Rose0

Yes, Sheramber, I forgot that it was its common name (doh!)
Guess what pp? I gone and researched more hellebores to covet and found that -
http://www.waitrosegarden.com/search/_/search.hellebore/sort.0/ have a few half price ones - I just got the cheapest ones at £3.49!! (but in 5cm pots, I wonder if they'll take years to flower though??)0 -
Plenty at my Lidl, so picked one up. Will need to await the snow melt to plant it.0

Went to another Lidl and managed to pick up two really nice plants. Presumably keep indoors until spring?0

Too hot/dry I'd think, maybe best on the south side of the house against the wall to keep off worst of rain.0
