How to fit a door lining to brick?

Can someone give me some instruction on fitting door lining to brick wall thanks...

This is an internal door

Do you drill with a masonry bit through the wood into the wall....
and then without moving the wood you hammer through your fixing and screw it... what fixings would you use ? How do you hide the fixings in the finish?

Tried to find a video but they are all fixing them to wood stud walls.

Hammer fixings as you suggest should work, However, personally, I'd use a smaller pilot hole through the wood so it marks the brick, then drill the brick with the correct size for your fixing. Use a larger wood drill or proper countersink bit to allow the fixings to screw flush with the wood then use some filler over the top,

Make sure the lining fixings are behind where the doorstop will be fitted.

7mm masonry bit through both wood and brick tap in brown plug to flush and then knock through with screw and then tighten. ideally two across the lining, which will make it easier to square the lining but one behind the stop will work, use wedges to square and pack the lining plumb and straight.
