Debt-free and Proud!

Hi,
IVA finished after 6 years 2 months with ClearDebt.
They were spot on and got my certificate of completion to me within two weeks of my final payment. All PPI completed the year before. Cleardebt gave me my £500 squid as the first PPI payout as soon as PPI finished. Also noticed that my name is off the insolvency register imediately as is the restriction on house sale notification on land register.
they really have been spot on. My one issue was the frequent change of advisor but they were all great.

So free at last. Noddle free credit checker improving straight away. So thumbs up.
Thanks to you all for many years of advise and expecially Charco the main main until a year or so ago.
Good luck to all. It;s a hard grind but...it feels good afterwards.

interstingly is that there are few images on the net of the certificate or real advise as it's not clear what it constitutes.

It is actually a report from your main IP that includes the final accounts, a letter stating his interest has now elapsed and that you have completed as arranged. No mention of certificate etc...but I guess it was nothing to be proud of....they ought to rename it though for clarity
  • I know what you mean - mine was just a piece of paper with three lines of text on. I'd waited six years (plus the year it took for GT to send the certificate). Relief to have it though.
