Any offers for "old" sky customers returning?

Has anyone had any success in phoning sky to return as a customer?

I'm nearly out of contract and OH wants sky+ but the best sky will do is £49 for a new box and 12 month contract... I'm of course being tight because the way I see it Sky can of course do better

So has anyone tried returning to sky as OH used to be a customer? If so what deal did you get?

Just left them acouple of weeks ago, best time to return is when the BBC and ITV are ready with their HD service, about next April, SKY HD may be free then.

I am not familiar with how Sky works but can another member of the household register as a new user? We have used this ploy with other companies (not TV) successfully.

That could be worth a try- my partner was last registered with them about 3 years ago although I'm not sure how long your on record etc. Suppose he could always say that he forgot
