Alternatively ring HMRC and ask for a tax coding notice.
Its handy to have anyway - and avoids you having to pester your local optician or MP!:D0 -
I applied this week and mine was approved instantly and the welcome pack and card arrived a day or so later. Still waiting for welcome email though but I was able to register for internet banking immediately after account activated so I can use it and set up regular saver straightaway too. I was told they are really busy and the welcome email may not arrive until next week.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. That was by email. Applied last Saturday and the email arrived Friday morning0 -
Still waiting for my welcome email so I can set up the switching process but I have internet access, my debit card and pin number now. Also managed to set up everyday saver and regular monthly saver online.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Me too. Almost a week waiting.
Applied on monday or tuesday, instantly accepted and overdraft set up. Got a welcome pack on the post on thursday. Gave them a call to confirm details and set up internet/phone banking. They say i need to wait for email to confirm account switch. It will arrive sometimes early next week. Still waiting for debit card/pin and secure key.
The advisor i spoke to advised that they have been flooded with applications and it is taking much longer than usual to process.
The call i have made took less than a minute to be answered and wow, what a pleasant bunch of people. The conversation followed a process but no scripts. Besides the delays, which are understandable, quite pleased so far.0 -
Does anyone know when they pay the switching bonus? Is it just after switch has taken place or do you have to wait a while?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
