hi
i have a samsung s5 phone and when i plug it in (via an hdmi/usb/mini usb lead) to my samsung TV and change the tv's source to the correct hdmi port the phone shows on the tv screen and sounds thru the tv perfectly.
but when i try the same thru my main (newer) tv which is a Panasonic TX50CX680B the phone does not appear mirrored on the tv at all and no sound either.
i have tried looking for a setting on the tv but other than changing the hdmi source, which doesn't rectify it, i cannot work out what else needs doing. i would like to view photos, videos, music and stream from this phone to tv that works perfectly on the older samsung set.
many thanks if someone can point me in the right direction.

Have you tried both HDMI ports?
Should this question perhaps be in the "TV Moneysaving" section?0 -
Give screen mirroring a go, i.e. Miracast.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

If it's anything like the Hudl 2, you don't need a hdmi/usb/mini usb lead.
You need a HDMI/micro HDMI cable.

sorry but not sure what you mean exactly.
all i can say is that with my current phone and wired option the samsung connects perfectly to my samsung LCD tv but the same setup is not recognised by my panasonic LED smart tv.

the lead i have is the correct one (even if i hve described it incorrectly) as it works fine hooking my phone up to my samsung tv. its just the panasonic that will not recognise the connection.0
