Which lenders are easiest to get a mortgage with?

There's a lot more to it than bank statements, and the lender that was easy for John doe might be impossible for you.
Best thing to do is instruct a broker who will do a fact find with you then advise accordingly, be sure to make it clear an easy application is a priority over a cheaper rateI am a Mortgage Adviser

In my experience, Halifax are generally a bit more laid back with their requirements. But as everyone else has said, you need to get a good broker. Where are you based?0

Pay day loans? Betting?
It's more than easiest to get a mortgage, it's more which is most suited to you and one you can afford.
No point in applying to HSBC for example and you only have a 5% deposit with betting and pay day loans with adverse credit file."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Normally if you think you are going to be wanting to get a mortgage soon (next 6 months for example) you do curb your spending so it seems a bit odd that you haven't and are now worrying about how it will affect your chances.

Again, it's possible they do in some cases (different circumstances can mean different criteria and checks) - and from what I've read the PO have traditionally been quite strict/tight on scoring and very cherry-picky about who they lend to (yes, I know all mortgage lenders "cherry pick" - but you know what I mean...).0 -
Halifax wouldn't offer to me at 75% LTV but they are one of the faster to push things through. Nationwide offered the full amount but are slightly slower depending on your circumstances. As for easy, it just depends on so many things but a broker knows best for sure0
