At least it's free! :rotfl: I hope you get it sorted and get a new lodger asap.
For me, we've been at a baby group this morning, and for £2 got some chocolate mini rolls, 2 brews, some pancakes, a banana and a slice of toast between me and DS2, so I think that was £2 well spent! He adores his baby groups bless him - lots of fun with friends.
While he's down for a nap, I'm hanging out 2 loads of washing on the airers for free drying, emptying the dishwasher, making lunch and tea from stores (chicken curry and rice from yesterday's leftover chicken) then boiling the chicken carcass for soup. I can finally collect the new hoover today - got it on click & collect from tesco, meaning that I get clubcard points and don't pay for delivery. £100 off the price too since it was on sale :T
Happy Friday everyone
DebbieHIGHEST DEBT £63,300 LBM 27/5/2020 DEBT FREE DATE 31.08.20220 -
* Clean outside of car if the weather lets up for a bit.
* Chase up missing £30 gift voucher code.
* Shop around for new sunglasses.
* Go to doctor to get test results. Combine trip with a wee bit of grocery shopping. We shouldn't need loads as we have lots left from Decemberfest.
* Paid rent early on 0% credit card to get loyalty points. All spending goes on here and I pay off the card at the end of the weekend. I already have £8.79-worth of points which will be spent on food when they are converted to vouchers in Feb.
* Gave OH monthly food money. £159.63 for the two of us. We have quite a lot left over from Decemberfest. With what's left over from that period we have £165 for the month which is a generous £20.62 each per week.
* Re-charge solar-powered calculator. With all this darkness the display is very dim.
* Did Royalmail Surveys.
* Checked all loyalty points. If you login to the Nectar Points website just now and click on "Offers tailored to you" you will probably get the option to get 200 bonus points when you shop four times at a Sainsbury's Local.
* Did i-Say surveys. Haven't done this for months.
* Have a quick look at Freecycle. I've given away loads, time to tsee if there's anything I want from it.
* Raised a claim on Quidco for declined £19 payment for home insurance. This is very complicated but I will not give up.
Well, that's the list done. The doctor still doesn't know what's wrong with me. More tests await. Anyway, I'm quite proud that I finished the list which means I can do a few more things.
Well done on the job Pace The Pixie.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Thanks. I don't know when we're booking yet. We need to have a massive think about that!Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Hello everyone
Thank you for starting us off Ally
Sorry I've not been on here for a while I have been so busy recently!!
Last week I had a car accident (very minor and I am fine, man that hit me was actually really nice and his insurance is sorting it all out).
I have also been promoted at workso I was busy preparing for the interview and now going to be busy preparing the opening of the new store so will be the odd check in for me.
So today's list:
FPL
Lucky phone
Pop to old house to grab post
Find a way to get cats back in (our back door is still not fixed, handle has fallen off, new door not fitted yet because it didn't come with a handle. The cats were really naughty yesterday and pooped all over our bed, was so angry, they've not done it since we first got them which we put down to stress so they got chucked out the window last night. However they cannot work out how to get back in the window, so left it open hoping they will work it out but means my house will be really cold)
Nip to mums later
Think that is about it, just a small list today - going to be a busy one.
Hope you're all doing well

The list continued:
* Use up face mask given for Decemberfest.
* Cleaned all of house except kitchen with Stardrops and washable cloths.
* Bought a vase for £1 in a charity shop. I love vases but try to limit my purchases to cheap ones these days.
* Snack on 12p noodles.

Quite a boring day for me today but will try to think of a few things to make me feel like I am achieving something:
School run - done
Breakfast - scrambled egg on toast - done
Potter around tidying a few things at home
Nursery run
Make shopping list for tomorrow, planning on cooking homemade Chinese meals, healthy but on a budget!
Lunch from stores
Plan dinner from stores
Put a £1 in my £1 a day savings
School run
Few surveys
Relax, or try to!
Only got a few quid until I get my money tomorrow so need to plan finances a little better to make sure nothing is wasted in my prep to start DMP in a few months.
Sorry if it's a bit boring, I'm new to all this! :j
