Thanks Rosa I'm very pleased to bust another £1,000 barrier. Although I'm not sure I have the balance right as I have £75 left until the end of the month now. It's frustrating as I want to pay extra on the debt but I'm not sure how realistic I am being.
I'm back to needing an extra income stream.
ACTION
Going to chase the lovely venue (although that is more long term as regards paying students)
Going to search for MnS jobs for Christmas in the area
Putting 1 item on gumtr33 for sale
Off to wetlands centre with a friend today. Should be low spend as I have membership and apart from fares and a coffee there isn't anything to spend on
Washing out and lovely Autumnal day where I am. I hope it's the same where you are

GIFTS FROM THE UNIVERSE
Friend I went out with today gave me some of her organic homegrown courgettes
I found £4 in the ticket machine
I saved £7.50 on my travel ticket
LIFE LESSONS
Yesterday I overpaid for a blind by £2
LESSON: Take exact money when going to a car boot sale.
I forgot the voucher for the wetlands centre so to save embarrassment I paid for my friend’s ticket. It was £13.50!!!
LESSON: Organise. Organise. Organise. DO it the night before.
I did not take snacks with me despite having them at home. My friend had lunch whilst I pretended not to be hungry. I was starving. I could feel myself becoming irritable due to hunger. SILLY me. It did not need to happen.
LESSON: Organise. Organise. Organise. DO it the night before
I met a lady with a Scottish Border Terrier. It is the dog I want one day. This lady said she got him once she retired. She retired at 60. I could do the same, albeit on a very small pension. We talked about retirement and we both agreed if it is money or time we both preferred time. We both liked walking, dogs, cooking from scratch and Cornwall. We decided we were both lucky as if our tastes were designer clothes and posh cars and restaurants we would both need to work much longer

Hospital appointment (nothing serious) I got through quickly so squeezed in a coffee in Ner0. Someone left their table in a right state so I cleared it. They left behind a 3 stamp loyalty card. Result.
Checked finances and the reason my balance is so low is because I am owed £85 expenses. Claim has now been submitted.
Ordered organic veggies. I got the cheapest items and some apples. Last delivery had some overripe tomatoes so I complained and now I have a credit against this order.
I cut some branches for my vase as I didn’t want to buy flowers. The olive tree was due a prune anyway
I made a double batch of garlicky, lemony hummus and some feta, butter bean and courgette burgers
WFH this afternoon, but it was fine
I washed a green wine bottle and added a glass vintage stopper and it fitted. It is my new water bottle for the dining room table. Looks stunning and it will encourage water drinking.
Another good day for me
Hopefully for you too?

Hello DIA,
Sorry to hear about your life lessons. I understand the embarrassment of needing to pay even though you forgot your vouchers.
With the branches that you use instead of flowers, have you thought of soaking them in your essential oils for a little while to give them a lovely smell too?
I love the sound of your dining room bottle. What a great idea.

Today is a NSD day (2/31)
Zumba this evening
Two days ago I sought out my hot water bottle for the first time in ages. It had a leak so I went to Wilk0 yesterday but they had sold out. If this weather holds I should get away with a hot water bottle and my lovely bargain blankets for ages. I’m going to get thermal socks and fingerless gloves for WFH when it’s chilly too. Let’s see how long I can hold out without turning on the heating. I’d love it if that was 1st December.
I texted my handyman to confirm he will be coming next weekend.
I am back to eating too much chocolate. I’m going cold turkey and just not eating chocolate at all until Saturday when I am next in the office.:o
I’m restarting my £2 saver jar. I liked having it before. A secret stash of £2 coins gave me comfort. It’s a bit worrying. I hope the squirrelling behaviour diminishes when I am debt free.
I hope MT has the dancing girls lined up because its hump day. Downhill to the weekend fellow debt busters.

Low mood tonight.
I texted the handyman to confirm his appointment next week. He seems really nice but I can already feel myself becoming anxious…:o
I’m bringing in the big guys aromatherapy wise. Clary Sage and Bergamot are mood balancing oils and they are in the oil burner.
Pre light bulb moment I would have ‘treated‘ myself out of this mood. I would usually eat chocolate but there is none and I’m cold turkey until Saturday. My decanters are empty so I can’t have a glass of anything either.
I’m prepping for work in the office tomorrow as it is my new routine of taking the bus so I have a 30 minute and a 20 minute walk and a bus to get to work.
I made lovely soup so I’ll take that in for my lunch. I have a grapefruit and some brazil nuts for breakfast.
I am posting this despite it being less than cheery because I think it is important that this DF journey is accurately recorded. It is a wonderful, empowering, worthwhile journey but sometimes paying £1,000 a month to debt sucks. It really does.
Off to make some tea and top up the oil burner
