Gratitude thoughts...
A new bank statement came for my debt today and I expected to feel pleased about seeing the total go down but it so nice to see the interest go down too
I found a sweatshirt on sale 50% off that I can wear to go to the gym that will also do for gardening too
Sunshine
Earl Grey Rooibos tea
The house is a state and needs LOTS of work. BUT, it is still wind and weather proof and I thank it for holding on until I can afford to give it some love
I go into my office 9 days a month. I am grateful for being allowed to WFH so often
I have a good job
I have good health
My debt is going down
However your day went, I hope you have found things to be grateful for today tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Taking care of present me
I am doing intermittent fasting again for weight but also for all the other health benefits. I start eating at 12pm or 1pm and finish at 7pm or 8pm. I started this a few days ago and already not at all hungry in the morning. So far so good
I am burning sage oil today. It is cleansing and used in many rituals in other cultures for spiritual cleansing. On a practical level it is antiseptic and it is fly season, and flies dislike it.
Taking care of future me
I found a Tai Chi group that meets on one of my non working days. It is not far away. I tried Tai Chi at a conference and found I really liked it. It is also recommended for stress and anxiety so I’ll give it a go…
Food
I’m eating vegan today. I actually craved veggies. So, I chopped up lots of fast cooking veggies and made a Thai red veggie curry. I cooked some turmeric quinoa and threw in a few sultanas to go with it. it looks beautiful even if I do say so myself
I have some mushrooms that will not last much longer so going to do a mushroom, leek (and a handful of leftover quinoa) frittata for the fridge
I have started to eat Lindt 85% chocolate. It only has 11grams of sugar and I find it impossible to eat more than a few squares
After a period of poor eating good eating habits are returning
Housework/garden
All the usual drudgery done —dishes —washing —ironing
Today I commit to four one hour gardening sessions. Off in to the wilderness I go. I will report back on my progress tonight!
London Town
I am feeling sorry for my home town. It is like a fighter that has not recovered from the last round of punches before being pummelled again. My thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones.

Just got home. A day of not eating or drinking enough due to not enough time. Weighing up a late night getting sorted for tomorrow and prepping a lunch so I eat properly tomorrow or going to bed and doing it in the morning.
The good news is four students I am teaching are asking if I can tutor them privately. This is what I wanted to do next year when I go down to 4 days. I wasn't expecting it to come up now...I thought I would have to market myself.
At the moment I feel I have too much going on. I don't know, but the money would help and bring me back to my debt free by the end of the year target instead of January 2018
It's decided, going to spend an hour getting the house straight and prepping lunch and then fall asleep to Question Time.
I hope you all in good spiritsIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

It's a nice boost that the students want you to tutor - do you have to let them know straight away? I think it's a fantastic opportunity (experience and bringing your DFD forward) but potentially not at the cost of your health?
Worth a good long think about it, though. How much of a time commitment would it be?
