Thanks for the headsup beanielou :) SW is going well and I am sticking to the plan.

A good day at work and lunch with a colleague. I ate my packed lunch before I went then I paid for tea but used my own teabag. Still not drinking coffee…

The roofer’s wife (sounds like a film title to me) got back to me is trying to arrange a good time for her husband to quote the job.

Spent £1.65 on tea, £2.85 on a box of eggs and a piece of emergency chicken from M&S.

The house is a depressing, horrible mess again!!!!! So bored of my slovenly ways. :( Working in town tomorrow so this can’t be addressed until Sunday now.

This weekend I need to buy some sandals as I am walking about in boots in Spring! I could also do with a few tops as I have 2 skirts that I am currently unable to use. Clothes/Shoes are so expensive but I need to look less shabby.

I still haven’t found a gym kit or a swimsuit so they are on my weekend to do list too.

I will search for bargains but a spendy weekend is coming up :o

I hope you all have wonderful weekends

    DIA x

I've never enjoyed shopping. Probably less so now I am aiming for DF, but there are things I need so going to have to get on with it.

8am got my roof tiles quote :T

Got to work on time despite early morning quote :)

Eating a bit too much protein but I guess that is a first world problem and I stuck to my SW plan and that is the main thing.

Tomorrow I will be sticking to poached salmon (YS). I’m making veggie/bean burgers and some soup (OK, some YS ham will go in the soup)

I will probably prep and freeze some lamb (YS) and bean burgers

I should be thankful but sometimes I think I would like to be normal and do a shop every week or month with no regard to offers or what is YS. I tend to build meals around offers and YS food. Sometimes I feel this way is creative and clever but sometimes I am bored with it.:o

I now have 10 days where I don’t go to the office. 5 days are non working days and leave and 5 days are WFH. So relieved :D

Cue hunt for sandals, a pedicure and shaping and colouring my eyebrows

After a week with no coffee or alcohol I am having a glass of wine tonight :D

Hope your day went well reader

Well done on being proactive with the roof tile business. It's so disheartening when things go wrong around the home but some things are better nipped in the bud and it's good that you have the means to get it sorted. I know personally, I've ignored things around my home that needed fixing and it has ended up costing a lot more to sort out

I hope you're feeling ok as you mentioned have a health problem. Wishing you well and hoping you feel better very soon.

You mentioned tahini in you menu plan......I'd never tried it until recently when we had a free lunch at work and it was in a salad from M&S. It was yum! What else can it be put on, other than salad? I don't know much about it but I figured you'd know :D

Ah lucky you with your 10 days away from the office :T All the things you can get done at home and no travel costs :j

Have a lovely week DIA x

My SW experience is short lived. Despite a week of logging and weighing and eating the SW way I can report a loss of one pound. An expensive one pound weight loss that cost me £15. I was already losing at that rate so I may as well save myself time and money and just keep doing what I was doing.

I will keep to recording what I eat (using my bullet journal) not the diet sheet

I am now more aware of measuring out treats and I will keep doing that

I had my free pedicure. It was amazing. My feet said 'thank you' to me when I got home.

No other news just plodding away :)

I hope your day went well

Might be worth sticking with SW for another week or two?

Thanks beanielou, I might just do it myself now I have the book but I won't be paying to go to a class.
