Thanks JoJo. I just finished cooking the Thai yellow curry chicken/veg and I've picked out so much lovely chicken it's now almost a veggie curry
Stuck in today although it is my off work day as I am waiting for a delivery of tea. There's a delicious Japanese tea that is the only substitute for coffee for me. On the face of it not very MSE but actually coffee is more expensive...and this tea is very low caffeine too
So a reading, cleaning, personal admin, cooking kind of day for me. I am tempted to return to my bed but I stripped and washed all the bedding and I am about to peg it outside, so I can't

It is sunny today and I couldn’t bear to stay in as I stayed in all day yesterday.
I checked on my tea delivery and changed the date to Wednesday when I am WFH
I went for a stroll in an area with nice coffee shops. I had a free cup of tea in Waitr0se. When I have the nice tea my plan is to still frequent coffee shops but take my own teabags. I’ll pay for the tea of course. I have an American friend who does this. The place and the music and the taking a break from the world that is the real treat. We shall see…
Took a bag of decluttering to the CS where I found the whole first series of The Wire for £2.99
I got a bag of apples, dark chocolate and raw nuts.
I am experiencing problems with my health that are making me feel quite vulnerable. Hopefully all will be well in the end. I will be going to the sign up for a new GP on Tuesday evening to get help with this. I guess it has made me reflect on my DF date as anything can happen at any time so I am glad I had my LBM.:)
I am going to tackle my home. As I’ve been feeling unwell and can't be very active I’ve not kept on top of things. I’m going to start with 3 spaced 20 minute sessions.
The walk in the sunshine felt so lovely.
I hope Monday has gone well for you too

Ahh DIA I hope you feel better soon. Feeling vulnerable isn't a nice feeling at all.
With your coffee shop, do you mean that you order a tea but don't use their tea bag as you have your good tea? I'm a bit confused, sorry.

Thanks MT. I think it might take a while to fix my health issue but I will try and take it easy but still keep pushing forward in the meantime.
Yes, that's right MT. I pay for tea and then use my own teabags
I hope all is going well for you

Thank you for explaining. Maybe some would give you a free cup of hot water if you bought a similar priced (to their tea) food item?
I need to update my own diary soon but feeling in a catch up kind of mood.

I am home early as I was on a training course today
Stepchange is on the radio. They are having a record year and the UK has credit card debt rising rapidly. The bank of England is worried. I am so grateful for my LBM and the journey I am on
I came home to see I have a tile missing from my roof later I will contact a roofer and text someone who might know someone. There are some things that must be done or other problems occur. I want an honest roofer who won’t create new problems whilst he is up there.
There was a time when I had no one to call about a repair and no money to pay for it, so although it isn’t great, it is part of homeownership and I can do something about it this time
I have been daydreaming again. I wish I was more present sometimes instead of focusing on the near future. I think this happens when I am finding repaying debt especially tough. It is a coping mechanism.
Anyway, when I am DF instead of going down 1 day a week I am going down 1/2 a day. I get another 5 days leave this year so the plan is to take off 1/2 day every fortnight so I work a 9 day fortnight. This will cost me 13 days leave but because I get an extra 5 it will only be 8 days. This way I lose less pay as there is a great deal to do on the house. When the house is done and I move I will go down to 4.
Today? A good day for me and hopefully for you too

I have got off to a good start.
I have had a text conversation with my handyman and he is looking for a roofer for me. I called and left a message with a roofer who I have used before.
I have a stock bubbling away on the stove.
I have washing in the machine that I will dry on the line as the weather should be good today.
I have YS lamb (butterflied leg reduced from £9 to £3) and veggies slow cooking on the stove
I am always much better ‘doing’ in the morning. Now to get ready for my WFH day
Happy hump day folks!

I have joined SW. I am already losing weight very slowly but I want to keep weight as a focus and the group will help me do this. I have a target of 2 stone.
Losing 2 stone is not easy but feels very achievable. If I lose 2 stone my weight will be at its lowest since 2006. I am setting a weight loss goal of 2 stone by Christmas.
I don’t know if having 2 big goals will be using up all my motivation and perseverance and make it more likely I will fail at one or both, but I don’t think so…
My debt is lower than it was in 2011. The new plan is debt free AND at target weight by Christmas 2017
I am sending a dress back today. I will only be buying clothes that support what I have (like a cardigan, tights, tops etc) but not buy whole new outfits like dresses. I already have clothes I love in my next size down so in the long term weight loss will save me money. :money:
Bought MnS skinny meatballs (5% fat) YS to 70p a tray. I bought 5 trays
10 (30g) individual cheeses YS to 5p each and perfect for SW as portioned and wrapped. Threw in freezer
3 trays of plums YS to £1 a tray
All healthy and part of the SW plan
Off to read the SW booklet properly
Have a good day
