problem with a recliner sofa

Hello
I am having a difficulty with resolving an issue with a faulty recliner sofa which I bought at the beginning of Nov.2015.One week after the delivery one side of the recliner stopped working which i reported immediately to the shop ( at that time I was unaware about my consumer rights). After two weeks ,the shop sent two people (the same who delivered the furniture) who couldn't do nothing about it.
The following day the shop rang me only to tell that they contacted the manufacturer of the faulty sofa and it will be them who would contact me.Meantime, one of the seats started to become saggy.
I had to wait almost a month (during which I was in touch with the shop) for an assessor's visit who decided that the recliner mechanism was faulty and needed to be replaced but disagreed with my complain about saggy seat by saying "all recliners develop this because of the reclining mechanism !
Today,I was contacted by the shop and offered only to replace the faulty mechanism and when I mentioned about the other fault the sofa,I was told "it was not mention in the assessor's report".
What do I do? From my reading of the consumers rights ,I understand that I have rights for the full refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase but the delay with dealing with the fault was not on my part and had I known what I do now about that probably I would have not allow for such a delay. Have I got the right to refuse the repair and insist on the full refund ?
Thank you for reading and I will appreciate any comment.
