First Direct switch... do u need direct debits?

Hi,
I'm considering switching to the first direct account which is advertised at the moment, but am I right in thinking you do not need to have direct debits associated with the account you're switching from?
I see other accounts say you need to have at least 2 direct debits switched to get the bonus, but can't see it on the first direct website.
Can anyone else confirm or deny this, as maybe I've just missed it!
Thanks

I think that may be a good spot on your part. Usually DDs are needed, but I cant find any reference either, nor does the MSE guide mention them. That said, I'm not going to take the chance, but interested to hear if anyone else did and was successful!
