Dubai hotel advice please

Am travelling to India with work, as I have to change flights in Dubai I am going to stop off for a couple of days.
Any advice on Hotels please? I wont have time to do much exploring except for the Burj Khalifa, will just soak up some rays.
I am paying for it myself and this is a money saving site, so not 5* prices please
I will be a female travelling alone, if that makes a difference.

My fav is the Park Regis Kris Kin. Just 10 mins from the airport,free shuttle to the mall and Burj Khalifa, and subway close by. Also an easy walk to the Creek, or Al Karama.travelover0
