EHIC Plus travel insurance

I have just browsed the requirements for the above with particular reference to pre existing conditions. Clients are required to declare all GP visits (except for colds) for the past 5 years! I am used to reporting hospital referrals/medication taken for the past 2 years but this requirement seems excessive. Has anyone on MSE actually bought a policy or made a claim? What happens if you forget to declare a minor condition (which perhaps happened 4 years ago)?

You might give them an excuse to avoid paying a claim...

Ask your GP's receptionist to give you a print-out of your medical records for the last five years and simply provide this to the insurer.
