Bought online and never recieved goods.

Hi there, wondered if anyone could help.
There is a gentleman in america who designs and sells cloths with his designs. I went on his online page/shop (ramomart.com). I made various purchases 200$+ and paid via paypal. I recieved an email to expect such goods in about 8 weeks. I made this purchase 02.01.15. Its been over a year now and after repeatidly contacting the seller and never recieving a reply apart from one occasion he said he will refund me on the same day... never happened.. he also msged me about 6 months ago mentioning problems with his delivery service. Iv messaged the seller 30+ times with no reply. What can i do?:(

I believe, not a lot, as the time for a paypal claim is 180 days.

Not sure why you would leave it this long before looking at what could be done, although I realise this does not help you now.

I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think paypal will not help you due to the length of time.

You've left it far too long... You're too late to claim through PayPal and you're too late for chargeback.

Your best bet is to keep chasing the seller; try sending a letter.

He says he bought from the US, but I took it as he is in the UK, there is nothing to say that he is not.

And the date is written the English way, otherwise it would be 1st Feb which is not over the year he says it is.

Either way he's SOOL as he left it so long.
  • Yes i do live in the UK. London. The only reason i left it so long was simply because i bought something as a gift for my mother and told her. So regardless of time i just wanted it for her. Really, i gave him the benefit of the dout... at my cost by the looks of it. THANKS to everyone who replied. I really appreciate it. I think iv learnt my lesson.

In the UK, you could file a small claim in a county court against the seller. It might be worth looking into any kind of similar process they have in the US. Obviously it might be difficult to see through from the UK, but if you can threaten the seller and show them that you know your rights, it might prompt them into refunding you...

You could try a complaint through the Better Business Bureau in his home state, although I'm not sure if they'll be able to do much for you.
