Really coming to the end of my bloody tether with laptops. Only got this a few months ago.
Screen is black but blue power is on. It's such a flimsy machine.
I read about taking battery out and holding power for a minute. Took out all screws but this appears to have a non removable case..
So I realised about the pinhole battery reset hole? But a wire down there and took a couple mm off it.
Anyway still not working .
What else can I try? Can I actually take the back off to a)remove 2nm of bloody wire b) remove the battery?
I've got deadlines coming up and work saved on the flipping thing.

I managed to get the back off. Took out the round lithium battery but the laptop still powered on (black screen) so I guess that's not the actual battery.
Anhthubg else I can do with the back off?0 -

has it been plugged into a tv?
press power on button for 5 to 10 seconds with battery and case intact and power lead removed, if that doesn't work return it to the retailer or use the warrantyDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -
