Sim? Is this techi or phones?

I hope someone can help me.

Im going to New Zealand for 3 weeks soon and Im a bit concerned about my mobile phone bill if I take the one I use here in England.

Calls from there to the UK seem to be around 80p a minute and I assume I would have to pay to receive texts as well as send them - and I receive quite a lot of texts.

Im thinking it might be better to take a payg phone and sim with me instead but no idea what Im doing.

Skype I vaguely understand and can use at a push but my main concern is receiving calls or txts and my bill being horrendous when I get back.

Any help please

Definitely Phone Forum - There is a lot of current advice on overseas SIMs already.

Try calling your current provider and asking to set you up with a roaming add-in just for New Zealand and see what the cost will be.
