Meanwhile .... the petition has gathered another 2,500 signatures .... 24 hours after MP's have debated it .....
Could someone tell them that they are signing something that is not what it is on something else that it says one thing there but another thing somewhere else and someone else has some other motive to get something different from what someone thinks they are signing for which is nearly what it says but not the same as the something somewhere else where they were debating about what was signed for somewhere ......0 -

A board that I've never even looked at.
I don't believe MSE were actually involved in the discussion on that thread so maybe even they weren't aware of the Facebook page.
I can't understand why they wouldn't have included a link if they were - and I'd have definitely followed that link.
And not signed the petition.0 -

Well, I would if I knew where to put it to ensure that the people signing the petition knew the full story about WASPI's 'ask' before they actually signed it & how to stop WASPI deleting my message.
I'm far more worried about the petition asking to close all UK borders which got over 3 times as many signatures as the WASPI one, as I'm on holiday in a few weeks time. Luckily the govt seem happy to dismiss out of hand a petition with nearly half a million signatures if the 'ask' is daft.0 -
Does it matter anyway? What's the point of signing the petition after the debate?

I was replying to saver861's tongue-in-cheek (well, that's how I took the post below) with my own tongue-in-cheek reply.Meanwhile .... the petition has gathered another 2,500 signatures .... 24 hours after MP's have debated it .....

Their response was that all the answers are on Facebook, had I signed now, and what had my MP said when I contacted them. When I pointed out that I still didn't have an answer to my questions and couldn't proceed without an answer, they deleted my posts.
Yes I had exactly the same response.
The government has now updated its response. They will not be revisiting either the 1995 or 2011 Acts.

Blocks are common on Twitter against anyone who disagrees with them.
However their supporters have done much worse with Ros Altmann with anti-Semitic posts plus wishing she would get cancer.
The actual Twitter Campaign account has been involved with many tweets which border on the harassment. I don't blame Ros for now blocking them.0 -

hmmm lets see now .... the campaign has been covered in the media, tv, radio and broadsheets, tabloids and social.
WASPI seem to be doing a very good job of hoodwinking people into signing a petition but keeping their main 'ask' from those signing!!
We now can add to the list, the petition committee and the MP's debating a petition that was secured under false pretences.
Not only that, a further 3,500 have signed since the debate .... under false pretences it seems!!! As well as that ....
Sorry .... need to interrupt ..... some breaking news just coming in ...
..Breaking News .... Breaking News .... Breaking News .... Breaking News ....
It appears our current Government is an illegitimate government. It has been found that those voting Conservative thought they were voting for Labour ..... those voting for Labour thought they were voting for Lib Dems ..... those voting Lib Dems were so confused they had no right to be anywhere near a ballot box.
Meanwhile .... in Scotland those voting for SNP thought they were voting in the Norway elections .....
This is unprecedented in the history of democracy .... this could have huge implications for the Government .....
Stay with us ... we will bring you more as we get it ....

Wow .... this is sensational ......0 -

Well they clearly don't know what they're signing, since the purpose of the petition was achieved weeks ago.
The debate's over.
They're not changing a thing.
It's a pointless gesture signing it after the debate has happened. (At best, WASPI should start a new petition, and attempt to get something akin to a neverendum going until, they get the answer they want. Whether they should reframe the question is perhaps something they could consider this time round.)Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
