Does anyone know if a thingy exists that can let me deliver powerpoint presentations remotely?
If so, what's it called? And where can I get one ridiculously cheap?:D
Thanks.

So you want a device that contents your powerpoint presentations to beam the show remotely, or do you want to control the show.0

Basicaly, I have the laptop linked to the projector. Normally I have to press the button on the laptop to move th epresentation forward or backwards etc. Or if I want to do stuff on teh actual presentation.
I want to be able to do this whilst standing anywhere in the room.0 -

Yeah as albertross said get a cheap wireless mouse or the Microsoft Presenter 3000 at a cost of £31 from amazon uk

The simple solution is to get a wireless usb mouse.
Your probably talking about a tenner from any pc shop
Basically it will come witha a usb device that plugs into usb port of laptop/computer that sends a wireless signal to a mouse controller. The range should be about 10 meteres or so. all you do then is hold the mouse in your hand and click right button when you want to change a page.
Hope this helps.0 -

Do you think a wireless mouse would work in a room full of people? Say if I was at the back of the room?0

Depends on the size of the room! I have just tried mine (Logitech) at about 20 feet and it worked fine - difficult to try it any further away. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
