Damp/mould problem - Which Dehumidifier??

I bought the Eco Air DD3 Simple. It's dead-easy to use and works really well.
It's about £185 on most sites, but Appliances Direct have it for around £165. When I checked out I was offered a £20 discount for taking a free trial of Which magazine (which I simply cancelled after the order). Nice!

I'd also disagree with the advice to avoid desiccant humidifiers. They work over a larger range of temperatures, use significantly less energy, are quieter and easier to service. As I said, I'm very happy with mine.
It heats up the air a little, but also reducing the humidity means the house doesn't feel "cold and damp", so you don't need to put the heating on so much.0 -
Desiccant ones are also easier to move!0

I wouldn't rule out dessicant dehumidifiers. They are great for when you have to dry clothes indoors. They are quiet and very efficient.0

Rather than create a new thread, through i'd put this here as people are ALWAYS asking about which one to get.
Screwfix have a great deal on their dehumidifiers at the moment, both have £50 off:
