Boiler completion certificate and checklist

We had a new combi fitted last April. The fitter was gas safe registered and the benchmark checklists was filled out.
Going through my paperwork yesterday I realised we hadn't received a building regs completion certificate. I checked with Gas Safe and they said it hadn't been registered but if I go back to the original installer he can notify them and register it retrospectively.
I assume this was just an oversight, I spoke to the guy on the phone he said no problem, send him the details by email and he will register it tonight.
Now I'm looking at the benchmark checklist and I notice that he hadn't filled out one value - the CO ppm value at max rate. He has filled out the CO/CO2 ratio however. Looking online it looks like prior to 2013 it was only a requirement to fill in one of these values but they changed it to make both a requirement (the checklist clearly indicates to fill in both).
Now I am worried that our 10 year warranty is going to effectively be void. Should he have filled this out? Is it possible he still has the value in his notes? I assume he must have taken the reading to work out the ratio. Does this value even matter once it's had its first service, when new values are taken or should I be getting him to fill it out as he should have done?

I am with you in that, in order to work out a ratio you must have both values. Is there a box on the checklist for CO2? If there is, you could back calculate the CO from the CO2 reading and the ratio.0

There is a CO2 box with a space then the word "ratio" and he has written the ratio after that but not the CO2 value itself.0

Not sure as I'm not GAS Safe or a fitter, but I noticed the device the guy who serviced my boiler used is electronic, so it might work out the ratio for you, and display it as the ratio. It may well also show the other readings but if you only have 1 of 3 bits of data it might be hard to fill them in.
Unless it is still running at the same ratio where you can assume the other values may well be the same as installation??0 -
It's not gonna void your warentee, just get him to fill it in when it's serviced in April, however if he hasn't regd it with GS what makes you think he's regd with the boiler manu ? & that may well affect your warenteeI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

I registered it with Baxi myself and have the warranty confirmation. Wasn't taking any chances there as it had to be done within 30 days.
The terms do state the Benchmark form should be properly completed though and from what I can see, it wasn't as its missing important information.
I will just get him to fill it out when he does the service so hopefully shouldn't be a problem.0 -
The thread is more detailed and having great materials.0

Thanks, I am guessing that's based on professional experience? I'm obviously wary of them using any excuse not to honour the warranty. It's annoying because I shouldn't have to pore over the details of the benchmark form as surely a GSR installer should fill things out correctly in the first place?
If Baxi are good to deal with then I guess that's reassuring as the 10 year warranty is partly what swayed me towards the boiler (that and the boiler it replaced was a Baxi that has lasted approx 17 years before packing up).0
