Contract of employment info

Hi,
I just received a job offer and signed the contract and posted it back to the company. I am due to start in 4 weeks. What I am wondering is, if the employer can cancel my contract now or is everything in place and its just the case of waiting for the start date? All I got is an email saying will be in touch closer to the starting date with an induction plan.
Cheers

First 2 years you can be dismissed for any reason. or no reason.0 -
I mean I haven't started yet everything has been signed and arranged its just waiting for my start date. If they were no longer wanting to continue with this contract that I am suppose to start in 4 weeks? Can they terminate it? Also would they need to let me know or would they just assume I know they terminating if they don't reply to emails haha0

I am just waiting on that start date and al paperwork been signed and received by the company and waiting on the date I was giving to start.0

Well if they can sack you for any or no reason, then of course they can terminate it.

Yes they'd have to notify you
I'm sure they wont, but just giving you a heads up0 -
Cheers I just waiting to get my induction plan closer to time of the start date and that's it really its a global big organisation so they wouldn't really terminate unless they have a genuine reason?0
