Hi. Me and my wife are planning a 3 day break for my 40th in June this year but can't decide on where to go. Can anybody give us any recommendations on the above cities or even throw another one into the mix??! We don't get away much because of the kids so would like it to be extra special. TIA

Of those three Venice is my favourite, yes it's very touristy and crowded in the day, but there is still something romantic and special about it, especially at night. Does depend on what sort of things you like doing though (as mentioned above).0

Venice or Cannes or Florence.

Depends where you have been. If you haven't been to Amsterdam then go for it.
If you have Lisbon?travelover0 -
Been to all 3. Rome would be my choice. I really loved the history of it, so many things to see there and found it very romantic wandering around.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Surely Paris is the city of romance? Or is that one ruled out?
Had you thought about staying in the UK in a very exclusive hotel in a gorgeous city like bath/edinburgh?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

We've been to all three, but only to Amsterdam in cold weather, so I'd go there in June.
If you've not visited any of the three, I'd recommend Venice. Once away from St. Mark's Square, it's fine. Around every corner there seems to be a breathing sight. Lots of little squares to sit with a spritzer and people watch.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Prague is really beautiful, cheaper than any of the cities you mention, and a lot less crowded.0
