Email from HL says they are likely to want to raise some more money, since Woodford has more firms in his sights. Is this normally open to everybody or just to existing investors. Also if the NAV dips enough as it sometimes does on diluting would it just as good to buy the shares normally?

With the price 4% below the issue price despite buyers coughing up a 7% premium to NAV (albeit a lot less a fall than the FTSE) I wonder whether the average Woodfordite is ready to buy more. I suppose the premium suggests they are.Email from HL says they are likely to want to raise some more money, since Woodford has more firms in his sights. I chuckled at Mark Dampier's assertion that: "Woodford’s only reason to raise more money is the opportunities he believes are out there". I'm afraid I ditched mine when the premium went to a daffy 15% but would look again if it went to a discount.0 -

Is the message: Pile as much as you can spare into any Woodford fund as soon as you can, as Neil wants to retire and he will exit at a percentage of the capital in his companies?0
