Hello.

I have written an Android app that will help users to see where their money is being spent. I'd like to share a link to this but wanted to check here before doing so, to see if that would be okay. The app is free (money is made from occasional in-app adverts), easy to use and as I mention can be used to track day to day spending. Is it acceptable for me to share a link to the app on here? No money will be made from clicking on the link.

Short answer is NO

You are not allowed to promote your own products on MSE, if you send an email to the Forum Team detailing the details of your App, they may grant you permission but it really is a long-shot.

Free or not is not the question, it is the promotion that they are against.
