SWALEC is better than Npower !

My moan is that Npower does not give as good a service as SWALEC ....
Mum's with SWALEC and if I go online and give them her electricity meter reading it automatically calculates the cost of the electricity used since the last bill.
I'm with NPOWER for electricity and gas. I give them regular meter readings between bills but have never been given the cost of usage since the last bill like SWALEC always does for Mum. I did ring Npower and ask if I was doing something wrong and was told no and that ' I could calculate it for myself if I used a spreadsheet' !
