Vodafone not updating Credit File

Vodafone seems to be very complicated regarding credit file.
I had an account with them for one day - and cancelled immediately because of bad customer service and the bad systems.
Now 4 months have passed and they report to Experian with a zero balance but NOT settled status.

I tried to call them many times and:
1 - they cannot find my details in their system
2 - when someone manages to find, they tell me to wait that the records are updated automatically. I told them that they need to change it to settled. But they never do.
3 - they tell me to wait for a new report. I then wait the entire month and the same status.

I already sent them a registered letter (special delivery) and they still haven't done anything.

What else can I do to get them to report to Experian correctly?

Don't think it'll really matter for phone contract whether it shows as settled or not.

The problem is that they are not doing their job properly and therefore not reflecting the correct status.
It's so unprofessional, and we shouldn't accept poor performance like this and think it's alright!

Report it to the CRA and ask them to dispute it on your behalf - you will find they get much quicker results - I had to do this with car finance a few years ago where it looked like the account was just open with a nil balance - they did it within a couple of weeks for me
