Help - No Refund

Hello

We ordered a set of pads from a company called Victory Printing http://victoryprinting.co.uk/ back in November.

Long story short £79.99 later and after countless emails and phone calls we are left high and dry.

Where do we stand?

Are you a business? How did you pay for the transaction?

Nationwide want nothing to do with it as they are a 3rd party.

I left a 1* review on facebook and Alex himself messaged me saying he will call me today and refund, Guess what nothing...!

Ontop of this I called his office and been told his been booted out as he owes 2.4k in rent.

Please what are the next steps?

Did you specifically tell them you wanted to make a chargeback? If they refuse, ask them to issue a letter of deadlock so you can refer the dispute to the financial ombudsman.

Or do they mean the payment was taken by a third party (such as paypal)?

There's no obvious sign of a third party in the payment, their website says about payment method:

You can pay directly on our website using your debit or credit card via our comprehensive payment system, however, if you would prefer to pay via bank transfer, that's fine too! You will find details for this at checkout. If you want another way to pay, just contact us via email or live chat and we'll be happy to help.

The website offers paypal at the basket. OP was is debit card via paypal? That would explain nationwide's refusal, but if you did use paypal, you can open a dispute on their system.
