Claim problem

I had an accident 11months ago, my fault which is accepted. My renewal has just come through and it looks like there are 2 claims for the same accident, is this normal? one for the driver and one for the passenger (whiplash).

Obviously this is affecting my renewal price which has gone up massively as they have knocked my NCD down to 4 years even though it was protected.

I've done a search and cant find anything similar, so assuming it must be an error?

Yeah 100% protected, its with Axa Car Insurance.

The problem seems to be that they are trying to push two claims against the same accident/incident, I'm sure that's not how it works otherwise what would be the point in protecting?

I've just spoke to them and they are looking in to it. The guy i spoke to sounded a bit confused tbh.

Sounds like it. One accident - one claim.

I'll bet that your phone call will prompt them to sort it.

How many years no claims did you have? Any other claims in the last 2 years?

10 years, no other claims. There was another Accident (Non fault) but no damage so didn't claim. I was rear ended but at very slow speed.
