Currently with the RBS but looking to change. Is the Bank of Scotland ok? I mean secure/safe/decent customer service etc?

I've had BoS FPs suspended twice now, apparently for setting up payments of a few hundred pounds to an external account (in my own name). Despite the fact that they send codes which have to be confirmed via a mobile, they sometimes also make you wait for 'verification'. It's really annoying. Why not go with Tesco as there's no pay-in required.0

Will look into Tesco ty.0

BOS are much better than RBS.
You can also choose Halifax and service the account at BOS branches.
TSB and Clydesdale are also worth considering.
Tesco are fine but I wouldn't use them as my main bank. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks - there are plenty Clydesdale branches around and I didnt even think of them. Also looking up the Halifax now.0
