Hi everyone, I'm after some info on uswitch.com. I have finally decided to change my gas and electricity supplier as British Gas who I am currently with are absoloutely s**t to say the least. I have entered all of my details onto uswitch.com and they have found me a different company so I have started the process which I believe takes around 6 weeks to swap suppliers. My question is how reliable is the information on uswitch.com? A few people have informed me since that I have done the wrong thing using them as their information is very old and out of date and apparently some price info is from 2004??????? Has anyone else experienced or heard of this as I am thinking of cancelling it before it goes any further.

uScam are probably slighter better than they were.
MSE has an article on switching Gas and Electricity suppliers: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/you-switch-gas-electricity
One that offers £30 cash-back on dual fuel switch or £17.50 for separate different suppliers each. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
