How long since you won??

Feeling a bit despondent about my recent lack of wins,I was just wondering what the longest period people have gone without winning but still entering comps daily.Mine is only 4 months, but it seems so long since I got a WEM.How do you keep your spirits up to continue?

  • Its hard, it really is

I went through a 6 month period a couple of years ago then won one to LA which made up for it

Last year I had bleak months and then this year I have had 13 prizes in 12 days so it just goes like that sometimes

Currently only about a month since my last win, but up to late November I had a pretty awful year win-wise and had more than a few totally dry months. It can be a bit demoralising, but there are only two ways through it - either take a break from comping, or just keep plodding on and hope that the dry spell will soon be over! Good luck, fingers crossed for a nice win soon for you xx

Nearly 2 months now. Which is weird for me. Touch wood it ends soon!

Last year from May to September I won a book, in all those months, I was still very pleased with that as I love reading and it saved me having to go out and buy it but I did wonder if it was really worth all the effort to keep entering with no wins but as cagsd said you either take a break from it or just plod along and persevere.

Prizes dried up during the summer, didn't win anything again till about September/November (about two wins) and four wins during the first few weeks of advent but nothing since.

14 wins so far arrived through the post this month (and it's only 12th Jan)

Been about a year I think this time aside from a Crabbies instant win. Very disappointed with the advents as won nothing at all. Seems to be a mammoth waste of time at present.

I once went a whole month (May 2014) without receiving a prize and didn't like it but I wasn't discouraged and unsuccessfully entered extra to try and avoid the big fat zero.
At least it paid off over the next couple of months with 20 prizes but I would happily have settled for far less if I could have had just one for the May instead.

In the times I did competitions regularly , about 3 weeks.

It's been a year since I've really entered as I've been moving, so I hope I can get back into it soon!
