Telling us the actual error message might be helpful.
  • Just says error, nothing else, never had the problem ever before on other pc's/ laptops.

Have you got enough disk space free?
Do you get the same - frankly unlikely - "Error" message after a reboot?
Have you tried a different browser?
What's the make and model of your laptop?
What version of Windows are you running?

These are just some questions one might ask.

What would you say to someone who said, simply, "My car just stopped"?
  • Acer f15, Win 10, 4g memory, only just got laptop so hardly anything used up on the disc.
Browser if you mean EXPLORER that's what it is using as it came along with the lap top.
If my car stopped I would call the AA, as I am not a mechanic.
As I am not a techie geek, I am calling on some kind techie minded member of a very good website, not a sarcastic knob head.

    Yes,
And you pay good money to the AA every year for such a response.

I'm exceedingly sarcastic, so I can't help you.

The recovery isn't free, it's included in the price ;)
