  • There are lots of online sites which can help you navigate thro what can be a confusing hobby when you first get started.
What kind of candles do you want to make? Scented, pillar, jar candles?

Ah, ok. I make them occasionally. I'd firstly suggest getting friendly with anyone who drinks Douwe Egberts coffee! Their jars (especially the smaller ones) are perfect for candle making! You can also pick up very decent, cheap jars from Wilkinsons.

Be aware that if you intend to sell the candles you make, you will need to clearly label them.

Did you have any luck with getting started? I would be interested in finding out about lead free candle wax, so i could too start to make my own!

A few years ago, someone on here linked to a wax supply company that sold mixed scented remnants by weight.

Does anyone recall what the company was, please ? I can't find the original link.
